Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) has bemoaned break down of law and order since the Patriotic Front took over government after the 2011 general elections.
FDD Spokesperson Antonio Mwanza says it is sad that cadres have taken the Law into their own hands thereby beating up innocent citizens with impunity and without fear of the Police.
Mr.Mwanza notes that it is also worrying that the Republican President has not come out in the open to condemn the violence that going on in the country.
Meanwhile FDD has also condemned in strongest terms the brutal murder of two defenseless citizens who where shot dead by the ZNS officers thereby demanding for justice to take its course.

It is difficult to implement Democracy in a state where pipo feel so free to say and do anything. We have allowed too much freedom.
It is applying Democracy in Monkey tree. Most of the opposition leaders have no shame to say lies. They are so uncivilised that they cannot be ashamed and they know that if they are touched, the international community, who in way just want suucessful countries to fall back.
I think its time for the state to act so that this nosense stops.

Too bad PF will only see the light when they feel the heat. It’s not the forces or armed officers who defeat authorities but people we are all watching patiently for the next elections. The same way they got to the top will be their same way down.

Daka you’re damn wrong time for sure will tell.According to your understanding who can dislodge PF in 2016? I mean which party to be specific? Your judgement is miscalculated, PF has close to three years to do best for the country. You failed to judge MMD in its 20 year rule. I can assure you by 2015 Zambia will be a huge construction site to the amusement of all the citzens. And the works of PF will make pipo who know developement to still vote fot it. How do you judge its perfomance in just one and half years when its mandate is five years?
