Chadiza Woman Forced To Deliver On Road Side Due To Deplorable State Of Road

The deplorable state of the roads in Chadiza is making road travel unbearable for the people and more so people seeking medical attention from the health centre.

Recently, Chadiza Constituency Patriotic Front (PF) Vice Publicity Secretary, Emmanuel Banda complained bitterly when he found a woman
delivering along the road as she had gone into forced labour due to the bumps as she was being transported on the bad road.

Chilenga Ward Councillor, Martin Zulu also bemoaned of the deplorable state of roads in his area particularly the road joining Kalandira and Nsadzu Rural Health Centre which he said were in a deplorable state and needed urgent rehabilitation.

Speaking to ZANIS in Chadiza yesterday, Mr Zulu observed that the road was previously allocated inadequate resources and the work that was done was also not satisfactory. He said the road was serving the local people to access the nearby health facility and grinding mills at Nsadzu. The civic leader noted that in most cases when patients were transported to the health facility on the very bad road, they ended up becoming weaker than before.

Cool down even at times your father cannot buy you all of you new clothes at once. Why lashing and behaving as if you spent the whole night drinking ilicit beverages. If MMD made durable roads do you think these roads would be pot holed by now? Some of us we come from there and we know what is at stake. Do not just yap like cacophonous winds. You XXX and only you cannot displace PF. This govt for the first time since independence, they are creating roads where there was only bush. You’re saying vote PF out come 2016, who will take over? Because today Zambia has the worst opposition political parties than any other time in history of our democracy. Who can succeed PF as at now there is none.Pf is doing eveything possible to link Zambia. The programme called LINK “ZAMBIA 8000 km” All those roads in my area will be tarred.

If the project was not budgeted for, the ministry of finance goes back to parliament and propose what we call supplementary budget. There is no magic in rinning the country. This is MMD to blame, when did MMD leave power? Do you think from the time they left to date roads if were durable or if at all were made would be in the state they are today? MMD was in power just one and half years ago. Do you think this time is enough for a road to be in delapidated state?

Noone i repeat noone in this country will assume power and after one and half years that will ever solve all the problems that pipo face. I can tell you noone will manage that not even the one you think is capable of doing will do that i can bet my life. Things were just in disaray during MMD. PIPO USED TO SEE DEVELOPMENTS ONLY DURING ELECTION TIME. Imagine if development of a routine during MMD time, 20 years was enough to see tangible results unfortunately it wasn’t the case.

Giving birth on road side is not strange at all. Even in an ambulance one can give birth as long as time for delivery has come; no one can stop that. The delivery of the baby was not because of the bad state of the road. That is why we have birth attendants in villages today. Do not blame government for this delivery. Ask people who are in charge of maternity will tell you better.

If the owner of the pregnancy does not know signs and labour pains, then it becomes easeir for one to give birth anywhere be it inside the house or road side or inside the car. Most times its the delaying tactics by the either the patient herself or those around her.

Iwe all Sara is trying to put accross is that she should have known that labour was near and would have started off to the clinic in good time…I would love to believe that you do not have children or a child. As a parent I know the delaying tactics women employ. Some would rather they go to the hospital and deliver say maybe after an hour just!…chisushi niwe swine!…did you do comprehension kusukulu, vele dalo ijot makaka!

    UNIP ruled for 27yrs
    MMD ruled for 20yrs
    PF will rule for 10yrs
Let’s wait for the emergience of the NEXT party. Current ones are RUBBISH with no quality challenge.

Kakolwe some how you’re very correct. The graph shows that number of years for each party to be in power, grows small for democratic reasons and values. So even if these so called oppositions can fight, PF HAVE TO BE IN POWER FOR 10 YEARS. BUT IF THEY ARE AS RECKLESS AS THEY ARE TODAY, PF CAN BE IN POWER AS LONG AS THEY WANT.
