Too bad for the boys…most chifita’s cannot swim it’s a shame!

At the age of 6yrs i learned how to swim at a Mine Club on the C/B it was part of my fee paying skool progamme to go for swimming lessons during sports…

When i became a parent I started teaching my baby to swim at 5 months. At the age of 12 she’d wake up at 5:30am to go and compete with university graduates before going to middle school in civilized countries. Now she can swim like fish, even sleep while floating on WATER without drowning!!

Are you blaming them for not having had the chance your daughter had? Do you know how she will die? If yes, start teaching her how not to die from that. May be how not to die from aging.

You chaps who brag like this never even paid a single dime for your school but simply gained it in the same way your dads were getting kampompo.

It is a curious thing, the death of a loved one. We all know that our time in this world is limited, and that eventually all of us will end up underneath some sheet, never to wake up. And yet it is always a surprise when it happens to someone we know. It is like walking up the stairs to your bedroom in the dark, and thinking there is one more stair than there is. Your foot falls down, through the air, and there is a sickly moment of dark surprise as you try and readjust the way you thought of things. The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death

I have been to that place six times. The place is wonderful like away from Zambia. Mainly foreigners like spending weekends on that place. It’s a game reserved area with a lot of game animals. The place is owned by a Briton descendant.

Yes, the bar is next to the ponds of about 3-4 m deep. Paddling is at your own risk especially at the middle part of the pond where it’s deepest but a pseudo courage one gets after intoxicated with buzz can result into such calamity.

Swimming in the past was a subject in some mining schools. Let everyone especially those from southern province know how to swim since this the province less water bodies in Zambia.

seriously lets not allow for a good place like nsobe to be closed down coz of our own actions and wrong judgement. many people feel the courage to go on the water after taking some beer and mostly the result is bad. management as well shud buy a lot of life jackets and have trained life guards, as well they shud have atleast 1 speed boat so that quickly the can save people if a ka boat capsise. i will never forget this place coz my friend and i almost lost our sons. may the souls of the two guys rest in eternal peace.

I was bound to ask the same question at the same time agreeing with blogers saying most of us would rather go canoeing after a few pints!…seen near mishaps because of the ”dutch courage” on the western province waters!…seen someone who was a good swimmer drowning after jumping into the waters after downing a bottle of chateau brandy, never survived!…too sad though!
