Kalulushi Subordinate Court Clerk Arrested For Corruption

A Court Clerk at the Kalulushi Subordinate Court has been arrested for suspected corrupt practices involving K1, 000.

Anti Corruption Commission Public Relations Manager Timothy Moono says Coillard Lomba, aged 37 of House Number B106 Zambia Clay Township in, Kalulushi , was arrested by the Anti-Corruption Commission on 23rd July 2013 and charged with corrupt practices by public officer contrary to section 19 (1) and 40 of the Anti-Corruption Act No. 3 of 2012.

Mr Moono says details are that Lomba, on unknown dates but between 1st July, 2013 and 23rd July, 2013, corruptly solicited for and actually received K1000.00 cash gratification from Able Chibwe as an inducement or reward for him to facilitate for a Stay of Execution in a court case involving Able Chibwe and Victoria Kapelekeshiku, a matter or transaction which concerned the Subordinate Court, a public body.

The accused has since appeared for mention before the Kalulushi Magistrate court and has been granted bail.

    This is a typical example of how corrupt some civil servants can be,i can i asure you that yo heads will row you are the same chaps who are making our job difficult as the pf.before we are voted out of power will make sure that you are booted out.no bail for you.

    Our courts are corrupt, I agree when the President says they are corrupt, most of the cases judged people have to fix deal with the courts to win cases even lawyers are not straight pleas Ba minister of justice clean the courts so that people are able get justice twapapata

    His not the only one.They are many.Courts courts bad habits.This will be a lesson to many.We shall be on a look out for more of such.

    Am appealing the gornverment to start investigating local court messangers and clerks,more especially in ndola,the so called J.K or John Kabwe atupesha kuli corruption inchushi tashiwina imilandu twafweni tuchula muno ndola kuli John Kabwe naba Boss bakwe ati nokuti leta iyakuti bonse tukumane.
