Pastor Nevers Mumba Welcomes Installation of New Paramount Chief Chitimukulu
MMD president Nevers Mumba has hailed the Bemba royal establishment on the successful installation of Henry Kanyata Sosala as the new Paramount Chief Chitimukulu.
The new Paramount Chief Chitimukulu was earlier this year dethroned as Senior Chief Mwamba by President Michael Sata.
Dr Mumba says the successful selection of the new Chitimukulu of the Bemba people has demonstrated the Bemba Royal Establishment’s capacity to handle all matters of traditional protocol, an exercise they have done with ease for over 400 years.
Dr Mumba has since advised the Patriotic Front Government to lay their hands off the succession process of all royal establishments.
He condemns the interference of the PF government in the running of royal establishments in the country.
He adds that the forceful degazetting of Chief Mwamba is unfortunate.
Dr Mumba says it is delighting that the Lubemba Council has prevailed and chosen for themselves the Paramount Chief.

Sosala is known to be the master wizard and here is a person who was a man of God preachin to world is now backin the world so as to satisfy his framboyant life style.Stop calling him a pastor he has no church to pastor he is the president of zambia.

this is so embarrassing to the President. What is going to do next? Is he going to degazette The chitimukulu chieftancy just because the person he dislikes has ascended to the throne? Is he going to oppose the choice of the bemba royal elders that made the choice? How is going to relate with the paramount chief he insulted when he threatened Chief Jumbe with wat he did to now CHITIMUKULU, recently during his campaign. We all read about it and I quote ‘IWE JUMBE…… UKEPUSHE IFYO TWACITILE SOSALA…..
The President should stop meddling in traditional matter with fists of vengeance. He must show neutrality and maturity.
