FC Utrecth Says Jacob Mulenga Is Injured & Cant Be Released, FAZ Turn to FIFA

The Football Association of Zambia is going to seek FIFA’s urgent intervention over the release of FC Utrecht striker Jacob Mulenga who until now is still being held by his club and not yet released for Zambias’s 2014 FIFA World Cup Qualifier against Ghana on Friday.

FC Utrecht are alleging that the player is injured and will therefore not travel to join the Zambia camp and delegation to Ghana; disregarding our position and legal right to have the player travel and be assessed by our own medical team.

I smell a rat. FAZ please go flat out on the matter with FIFA and have Jacob released… You never known our opponents could be behind it. Ghana are afraid of Zambia so they can do anything in this world to frustrate us. Babe mitwe ubukulu

Imwe mula balilya akale kuli Kalu na Renard. This is a formality game. Have you heard any comment from Kalu?

This a big match and would have attracted alot of inspiring words from FAZ. But alas! zzzzzzzzzzziii!

We have heard all sorts from Ghana FA. Kalu nothing. When Boateng issued those words, I expected Kalu to issue a statement to assure the players and fans that Ghana are not known for such.
