Ghana star Andre Ayew feels Zambians are making too much noise ahead of Friday’s big clash and must be shut down to give them a measure of their real size in African football.
The Chipolopolos must beat Ghana, the Group D’s leaders, in Kumasi or miss out of a dream 2014 World Cup ticket.
Ghana are keen on the game after failing to beat the 2012 AFCON title winners in a competitive fixture since 1992 and have named a crack squad featuring Kevin-Prince Boateng, Michael Essien and Andre Ayew.
But the South Africans, with their assembly of players from low-class amateur leagues in China and non league sides, do not seem worried by the class of Ghana’s star-studded congregation and have rather claimed the Black Stars are scared ahead of the game. However, after touching down at the Kotoka International Airport from his base in France, Andre Ayew, the Olympique Marseille anchor has realised Zambians are ‘making too much noise’ and must be smashed into smithereens.
“It is a game we have to win for the nation because the Zambians are talking too much and they must be shut down,” he told Joy FM’s Ridwan Ibrahim Asante.
I missed playing for the nation and giving off my best to make sure we get to where we want to go. It is a great feeling to be back into the squad and see the guys again.”
Andre, together with Kevin-Prince Boateng and Jordan Ayew ended their international retirements to face Zambia.

Ayew will once again retire from playing for Ghana after September 6. Actually it is them (Ghanaians) who are talking like mad men and women….. check their blog ghanasoccernet.com. It is also my belief that when Zambia wallops the so called Black Stars, Ghanaian women will prefer marrying Zambian men

“But the South Africans, with their assembly of players from low-class amateur leagues in China and non league sides, do not seem worried by the class of Ghana’s star-studded congregation and have rather claimed the Black Stars are scared ahead of the game.”
How does south africa feature in all this? But anyway Ghana is very scared. This is a fact. The unpredictable nature of chipolopolo is what scares every team on this continent of ours. But this time around we can safely predict that Ghana will fall heavily in their own backyard. Squirm as they might they won’t be able to squirm out of the bashing in Kumasi. Zambia is the true champion of Africa and worthy representative at world cup in Brazil! Without boasting big names playing in fancy leagues in Europe they are still capable of delivering.

@Wantanshi, they meant Zambia because we are in the Southern side of the equator, that is why they are saying South Africans since they are West Africans. Bakanya pa Friday.

Sorry Mambo. You sound to be Ghanaian but am very sorry to put it to you that Zambia has players as well and we are not going to Ghana for a holiday.Neither are we going there for tourism.Zambia beat Ghana in a row and records are there for everyone to see.Thats how come our colleagues have recalled old retired bones because they are very much aware of what Zambia is capable of doing. We are no longer underdogs for your information. The underdog status ended immediately after the AFCON 2012.The game is on the Pitch not in the name.Am sorry, you can explain that to your Ghanaian friends.

You see, West Africans think that because they have so many of them in Europe and Zambians remains at home, its because they are better. To the contrary. West Africans go to Europe CHEAPLY. They go as cleaners, scavengers and drifters while Zambians are so proud to be home.
As a Zambia Engineer, I cannot go to Europe as a Carpenter. These Ghanaians, an Engineer can swim the Mediterenean to be a carpenter in Sicily.
Zambians have not accepted modern slavery.
Very few Ghanaians are called from Accra. They are children of Drifters discovered playing in the slams.

Kennedy, u seem to know so much about Ghana. Modern day slavery? Last time I checked, Indians own Zambia. It’s rather pathetic to be a slave in your own country. I do commend you however for not thinking about leaving for Europe but guess what. A lot of Zambians are leaving for Europe tho the number is more in West Africa because west Africa has more people. Stop your bad talk about Ghana and West Africa. Talk football and not some social life cos if u start we decend on u. I have lived in Zambia before and know a lot about the landlocked country.

Zambia is not owned by Indians Kofifi. You probably mistook Zambia for Gambia and we bare with you.
We have a number of Ghanaians in Zambia and we understand why they are here. We have no problem leaving with our Ghanaian brothers as they are good people.
Football wise I think it will be a close call. Zambia should have concluded this group by now but we are still in and playing for everything. Let us respect each other and talk on the pitch.

I didn’t mistook Zambia for Gambia. I lived in Choma and Livingstone and frequented Lusaka a lot. The people who controlled the economy ie the retail shops and other business that fetches money were the Asians who had no respect for Darker skined people. I have a lot friends there. Ur vice president is even white. Anyway, Zambia is losing on Friday. There are certain things that need to be addressed in the team and one is complacency.

Its not a land locked country but a land linked country. kikikikikiki.
The Zambians I can see in Europe are professionals. The Ghanians are drifter only visible at African Churches and West African shops buying rotten fufu and cola nuts.

After the 1-0 defeat at hands of Zambia at 2010 AFCON finals, Ayew retired from international football. Chipolopolo, make him reture again by beating his team again. Since 1996, Ghana have only beaten zambia in full international matches in that sham friendly played in England. The rest of matches Zambia has carried the day. My money is on Zambia. Viva Chipolopolo. Chipolopolo 1-0 Ghana

Lies!! Zambia beat ghana in 2012 semifinals not in 2010. In 2010 ghana was in the finals with Egypt. In 2012 Ayew didn’t retire, he had a shoulder injury and couldnt play for some months. He went on retirement this year and Zambia had nothing to do with it. Stop boasting and win games! We are in 2013 not 2012. U have drawn games more than any team on the continent and u think u r good enough to beat Ghana?
