The reason is simple those we consider as underdogs play their football with passion and commitment while the big teams want to show off because they have become big headed.

you people do not follow football and you surprise me very much. When was cape verde considered underdogs? Remember this is a team that performed exteremely well at the last afcon. They are not underdogs. They are a football powerhouse in the world. Just look at their fifa rankings then you will believe. They can wallop your much fancied chipolopolo by a wider margin. Just research and you will know what i am talking about. Stay blessed.

Zambians always gona b the under dog, the win of ACON was just a luck, the same way as winning a lottery, luck only comes once! RIP FAZ, hehe! Just loving the comments people make, in such denial, hahahahahaha

Cape verde is a true reflection of what good management and of the sport and a great coach can produce. The tiny island has made remarkable progress in soccer in the past 2-3 yrs. They have no big name players in the strong leagues but still able to get the results. They took big names like cameroon down in the recent past and pretty sure sad as it caan be can take the former mighty zambia.Zambian soccer needs a complete overhaul from the FAZ management, coaching and player selection

Excellent Cape Verde. A country whose population is 16 times into Zambia succeeds. What is wrong with Zambia?
