Zambian Truck Drivers Protest Shooting Incident of Zimbabwean by Congolese

Several Zambian truck drivers at Kasumbalesa border post have protested and sealed off the border following the shooting of a Zimbabwean truck driver by some Congolese nationals.

The angry truck drivers are demanding to be addressed by senior government officials from the Zambian and Democratic Republic of Congo-DRC-.

And Copperbelt Acting Police commissioner Joyce Kasosa has confirmed the development and has identified the victim as Patrick Mulusi of CDC Logistic Transport firm.

Build a dry port on the Zambian side , off-load your goods so that truckers from DRC can pick them up from there! . That’s the solution.

Kasumbalesa is a ticking time bomb. Congolese have taken over the Zambian side with impunity. I wonder what the immigration department is doing. 90% of the traders on the Zambia Side are Congolese.
