French Club Sochaux Targets Renard

Renard

French Ligue 1 side Sochaux has contacted Zambia coach Herve Renard and want the Chipolopolo trainer to immediately take over from Hely Pablo Correa who has resigned following a run of poor results.

It is understood that Sochaux want the Zambia coach to take up the job over the coming week. They have since tabled a lucrative offer which would see him more than double his present wages with Zambia.

Should Renard accept and leave to take over the French club, he will join up with Emmanuel Mayuka who is at the club on loan from Southampton.

The Sochaux hierarchy has made a firm offer and positioned the 2012 Nations Cup winner as its top priority for the job with French newspapers hunting that The Fox, as Renard is called, likely to take up the job.

Renard, still has a year to go on his contract with FAZ but it the French offer may be appealing to him if he wishes to take up a new challenge.

I think now he can go. Its like time has come in my case i was against joining any African country now that his home country is after him after thickening his CV here in Zambia, he is free to go back home.

Nabapyemo ba Renard 8 games, 1 lose, 1 win, 6 draws what can we miss from him. Lets just bring back Dario Bornette(spelling njafweniko) is the one who made chipolopolo 2012 team not him. Let him go.

He shouldn’t go, Zambia needs him more than he needs Zambia. Its very difficult to find the down to earth sort of Coaches HR is. Surely, if he goes, then Patrice should remain with the team

His post AFCON 2012 achievement does favour him to stay.
Good luck ba Renard. However, history doesn’t favour you to achieve away from Zambia. You failed in Angola six months after joining them from Zambia. You equally failed at the Club you joined in Algeria after leaving Angola.
You only succeded in Zambia ( AFCON Quater final in 2010, AFCON Champion in 2012 and also COSAFA Champion in 2013). Your CV has been enriched here in Zambia. So this is a 50/50 afair. Renard needs Zambia and Zambia may need him for continuity. I rest my case.

Any coach who can initiate a gud combination of players can take our national team far. But wen it comes to selection of player, a coach faces no problem because zambia has a lot of highly talented players. So lekeni HR aleya! He is not a factor in zambian football. Tulibakalifye nakale. Aletukafye mitwe kembo!!
