Kambwili Tells Kabimba “You Cant Rule People Who Dont Want You, Zambia Doesn’t Want Your Arrogance”

SPORTS Minister Chishimba Kambwili says PF Secretary General Wynter Kabimba’s arrogance is not needed in Zambia saying a leader can not force himself to rule people who don’t need him.

Kambwili said that it is unfortunate Mr Kabimba interpreted his advice to be a tribal element.

Mr Kambwili, who is also Minister of Youth and Sports, was reacting to Mr Kabimba’s statement that he (Mr Kambwili) is part of a clique of tribal elements sponsoring anarchy in the PF.
Mr Kambwili said: “First and foremost, I want to say and I have said before that [using an adage] he who does not get advice embarrassed himself before in-laws.
“And this is the kind of arrogance we don’t need as a nation. Surely, how can somebody give you advice like the one I gave and get blamed when I was not even being biased towards the cadres or towards the secretary-general?” Mr Kambwili said.

He appealed to cadres to stop the demonstrations because the actions are not healthy for the party and the nation at large.
Mr Kambwili said demonstrations are dividing the party and called on all PF members to exist as a unit.

“I have never gone to any of the cadres to encourage them to demonstrate and I can challenge anybody, I have never had any meeting with anybody to encourage them to demonstrate against Wynter Kabimba and I have no intention whatsoever,” he said.

Mr Kambwili said Mr Kabimba should work on his personal relationship with the cadres, who are complaining about his alleged bad and arrogant attitude.

@Captain; not every leader should be required to have a concitituance for him/her to have a poztion in a politiko party. Even Joseph could have a chance to lead in Egypt. It takes a leader to lead the people.

Yesterday, it was the Opposition who wanted the Chief Justice out.

Today its Kambwili who wants the Minister of Justice out..

Cant Kambwili see the Opposition’s machinations?

Surely, if the President did not tell us not to endorse him, why should Kambwili expect Kabimba to do it now?

He even became more collected and calm, much to the supprise of the public.Hon kabimba shud calm down, everything shall be exposed.People wont know the difference between GBM,Kahoyi and you.

There is nothing wrong with what is going on. It is neccessary because it affords us the opportunity to see who is mature and who is not. Who can keep secrets of the other and who cant.

It is at this point where we shall see who heamophilliacs, who bleed to death once they are nicked by the real world, are.

Its an opportunity for the President as well. We need continous turbulence so that we may not sleep.

Like in the Bible, I think its Luke some verse, Jesus had a nap and wind came upon the boart and disciples where all shouting towards Jesus to save them. But time will after his excellence has established who are the heamophilliacs when they start to hual insults on each other and disclosed the previledged party matters

So come on….. game on…. Swaaaaaa!

Kambwili is as arrogant as Wynter. Is it not Kambwili who told us to go to hell when we resisted the name ‘Gabon Disaster Heroes Stadium’? was it not Kambwili who told us to Shut up when we wanted Renard (Zambian coach) sacked for lack of performance? To me these two are equally ARROGANT. Sata should fire both.

The president must sit this people down once and for all, instead of us hearing this and that day in and day out. These nonsence is destroying our srong party and it will take time to mend. All those that are making noise are needed and no one is above the other. Try to be mature enough to be able to solve things out of the press. what do you achieve to be in the press day in and day out. You are embarassing us the people that voted for you please. Come down and do the right things once and for all please, please. When one is wrong i’m sure you know were to find them and talk, no one leave in the press.

Both of them are VERY arrogant. I recall Hon. Kambwili’s comment when Zambians objected to naming our new stadium Gabon Disaster Heroes Stadium. He retorted, “Cabinet has decided and those who do not want the name can hang”. Apparently the Minister seems to have forgotten that the stadium was public property – not PF property.

Hon. Kabimba is so arrogant that even his own party has realised that he is a liability. At last they have noticed. HH and others must be shaking their heads in wonder.

There is a very big difference between Given Lubinda and these two (Kambwili and Kabimba) in term of maturity. Why can’t they learn from the mature example demonstrated by Lubinda? They are now becoming a shame.

Tribalism is bad and should not have been given a chance. The reason it has become an issue in wynter’s case is simple. It is because the cabinet is 70% dominated by one group. It does not make sense for either K Chishimba, nor Mwamba nor Chikwanda to respond to Kabimba. Let a tonga, or lozi or ngoni in the PF counter Wynter. If the party do not have one of the above then it may be true that there is tribalism. Now, I support simple majority clause since a soli, lenje, tonga, luvale, lunda, Kaonde, Lozi etc will soon begin to realise their place in this country.
