Kapiri Moshi Man Beats Pregnant Wife to Death

A TWO-MONTH pregnant Kapiri-Mposhi woman has been beaten to death by her 39-year-old husband.
The woman was reported to have been found drinking beer in the company of another man.

The woman aged 33 and identified as Eunice Mbobela is alleged to have been killed by the husband Moses Siachitema.
Central Province police chief Standwell Lungu said Eunice met her fate on Sunday around 18:30 hours.

Mr Lungu said police apprehended Siachitema of Matebela Village to assist with investigations and that initial investigations revealed that sticks and fists were used in the act.

Preliminary investigations also revealed that the couple was on separation following misunderstandings.

On the fateful day, the accused found his wife at a drinking place and forced her to go home with him.

On their way, the accused started beating his wife until she became unconscious and was pronounced dead on arrival at the hospital.
The body was taken to Kapiri-Mposhi hospital mortuary awaiting postmortem, while the accused was in custody.

What happened was sad and unfortunate yes. However looking at beer drinking with another man, led to all wha happened, that can’t be supported, even if there was no sex or sex involved. We never no may be the same man she was drinking with could have been the causer of that separation. It was wrong and foolish for the woman, though the husband was not suppose to react in that manner. Ba Nalilowe
