Lubinda: Tarring Of Kabwata Roads Before Rains Not Possible

KABWATA member of parliament Given Lubinda says people in his constituency should not expect tarred roads before the rainy season.
In an interview, Lubinda, however, hoped that the roads that were being graded now would be tarred before next year’s rainy season.
“They must not expect tarred roads before this year’s rainy season. That is not possible. I would like to inform the residents of Kabwata Constituency that on the L400 road project in which 400 kilometres of urban roads in Lusaka will be worked on, Kabwata Constituency will benefit more than a fair share. This is because we are going to have several ring roads done in the constituency. We have Kasama road, Nationalists road, Saint Patrick’s roads, those three roads will be linked to Kafue road in Lilayi,” Lubinda explained.
He said works have already commenced in Kamwala township where roads such as Obote were being worked on.
Lubinda was optimistic that the Road Development Agency would also tar some of the roads that have been upgraded to gravel standard in Libala.
“People of Libala stage three will realise that we have started grading some of the roads in their area. We have started patching pot holes as a way of mitigating the challenges which they face during the rainy season. This is not to say they are going to have the roads tarred before the rainy season because that is not possible,” he said.
Lubinda said Avic, the company that has been contracted to do the roads in Lusaka, could not be in every place at the same time.
“I would like to appeal to the residents to be patient. They ought to bear in mind also that the programme of works is not controlled by the member of parliament. This is controlled at a high level because that is a national programme, it is an RDA programme,” said Lubinda.

Many people do not realize that adult stem cells play a key role in the natural renewal of your body and are essential for the maintenance and repair of organs and tissue throughout your lifetime.
Due to factors such as age, stress, pollution and poor diet, there is a reduction in the release and activity of adult stem cells, which may lead to a decline in the natural ability of your body to maintain optimal health.
Stemtech’s clinically studied stem cell nutrition line of products is designed to help support three most important aspects of stem cell physiology: the release, circulation and migrations of stem cells.

Luninda is just using logical thinking. The technology cannot allow them to tarre the rds during rain season
    Nothing to do with leadership.

Another reason which the Minister hasn’t revealed could be that there are no funds to pay contractors. Otherwise the easiest way is to engage several contractors to do several roads all at once.

Mr. LUBINDA, include Chilala roads in yr programme. They are currently no roads to talk about in that area.
