Kabwe Warriors have moved to appoint veteran defender and former Chipolopolo vice captain Chintu Kampamba to the Kabwe Warriors technical bench.
Warriors who are 3 place above the relegation zone on 32 points together with Power Dynamos and Konkola Mine Police the two teams below them and Nkwazi right above them are looking for a new lease of life as they look to stay in the top flight with4 games to play.
Peter Mwila has been appointed as head coach while the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations Gold Medalist will save as assistant player-coach. Tom Kampamba has been retained as goalkeeper coach.
Happy Sichikolo and Vias Mwendalubi who have been incharge at Godfrey Chitalu Stadium since the departure of Dick Ngwenya have been relegated to the youth team.
Sichikolo has been in-charge of Warriors the last two months as care-taker coach.
33 year old Kampamba has remained an active member of the Chipolopolo team despite not seeing any competitive action this year but was part of the team which played Ghana and Brazil.
