Raw material used in the manufacture of washing detergent such as boom and other goods worth millions of kwacha at Lusaka’s Trade Kings warehouse have been burnt to ashes.
According to an eye witness, the fire started around midnight.
Fire brigade Officers struggled to quench the fire for almost nine hours as the chemicals were highly inflammable.
Trade Kings Operations Manager Mohammed Arif is shocked over the loss of goods in the inferno.

I decry these poor standards of journalism in Zambia. Did the fire fighters put out the fire after the 9-hour struggle? What’s the extent of the damage on the warehouse?
