HH Claims UPND Only Solution to PF’s Leadership Crisis

Opposition United Party for National Development (UPND) president Hakainde Hichilema says his party is the only opposition party that provides an alternative to what he has described as the PF’s leadership crisis.
Mr. Hichilema says this is because the PF leadership crisis is also causing an economic and social crisis which will require a political party such as the UPND to provide credible solutions.

He says the leadership crisis has been demonstrated by among other things the back tracking of the PF government on the enactment of a new constitution as indicated by President Michael Sata and the decision to increase the country’s foreign borrowing to 35 billion kwacha.

Asked whether the UPND will consider forming an alliance with another opposition political party such as the Movement for Multiparty Democracy (MMD) ahead of the 2016 general elections, Mr. Hichilema told QFM News that his party prefers a consolidated opposition.

The way HH became a President for UPND is what made people dislike the party. He agreed that no other tribe should lead UPND.(Sakwiba, Chisanga,Sichinga, Mtonga and many others left because of that. He should have being a Vice first. So it is difficult to remove a tribal tag.

May be; but not HH and the way we know UPND. What they want is to get into power wether things can be bad or good. But I wonder who can so blindly give power to these people!

Time and again i have said that UPND as a party stand a good chance of forming government in 2016, but only if they deal with HH. The guy is too arogant, he does not respect the party constitution how much more will he be when he becomes republican president? UPND constitution says that when a party presidential candidate loses an election twice he should not be allowed to stand again on the party ticket (Has he amended it???).How many times has HH floped????

UPND NEEDS A LEADER, HH WILL NOT GET US TO STATE HOUSE.

HE IS A BUSINESSMAN, NOT A LEADER.

I used to like pf,but with the so many happenings, I feel a bit disappointed and the most painful part is not having a strong opposition with a good leader to give us hope in case we want change.ooh no!Ba Sata too much doing things out of emotions, otherwise I still salute you.
