The Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) has advised the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) not to allow undue influence from outside forces as it investigates Agriculture Deputy Minister Rodgers Mwewa and his labor counterpart Ronald Chitotela over their alleged involvement t in fraudulent deals.
YALI is of the view that the ACC must exhibit high level of professionalism and transparency as it investigates the two deputy ministers over their alleged purchase second hand vehicles using constituency Development Funds (CDF).
YALI governance advisor Isaac Mwanza says the ACC’s professionalism should also be exhibited in manner that does not show that the two Deputy Minister are only being victimized for political expedient.
Mr. Mwanza says if the two Deputy Minister are found wanting however the law must also take its course.

“YALI governance advisor Isaac Mwanza says the ACC’s professionalism should also be exhibited in manner that does not show that the two Deputy Ministers are only being victimized for political expedient.” Where does he even get this notion that they are being victimized? Is he preparing to refuse the outcome?
