VETERAN football commentator Dennis Liwewe has returned home from South Africa where he went to seek specialised treatment after falling ill.
Liwewe, who was flown to South Africa and admitted to Sunninghill Hospital, returned on Friday afternoon.
“I am feeling much better,” Liwewe said upon arrival from South Africa.
Liwewe was however in no condition to give further details of his ailment.

Good he is recovered. But how can I get his cds of eighties when he was at his best? I remember when zambia was playing Gwatamala, we were 2 zero down with only 7 minutes to go, he still gave hope to the nation that anything was possible in football, nonononono, this guy was great!

I remember the game.
Effort Chalabala didn’t play in that game due to his poor sight under floodlights. So, second choice keeper, Sparks Bwalya from Buffalo was in goal and he allowed two silly goals before after time. Johnstone Bwalya known as “one commando” scored from almost the centre just 10 minutes after second half. 5 minutes before the end of the game Ashios Melu scored a free kick out side the box. Guatemala’s keeper stood like a monument without making attempts to dive. it was 2 all draw.
The next game was with Italy and Effort Chabala was in goal and Zambia by then was known as “KK-11″ won 4-0.
Ba Denis, removed the shirt celebrating with players and saying, “people here are asking where is zambia? they are now buying atlases like hot cakes.
Get well ba Denis,
