THE Zambia Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (ZBFF) has stripped Mr. Zambia Sylvester Mwila of his title for speaking out on the allegedly low prize award for the title and slapped him with a two-year suspension from the sport.

Mwila, who won the Mr Zambia title for the fourth consecutive time, last Friday described as ‘trash’ the awards given to bodybuilders for the contest
And ZBFF has expelled Matero Gymnasium chairman Trust Chashi for allegedly gross indiscipline.

There is intolerance in this association it seems. The man said the truth, and its very clear for all to see. They should have just warned him not striping him of his title. And then give it to who? Who even knows he’s been beaten for the last five championships. Chabe chabe body building federation.

The winner of this sport gets as low as K5,000 as the winning amount. This money can’t even buy a good motorbike. To make matters worse, the sport is very risky health wise as bodybuilding in the long-run destroys blood vessels.

But kuti waseka, so its PF’s fault? This sport has been neglected 4 a long period and its due to poor preparations. The govt is not responsible 4 giving prize money, they shud find sponsors like others do.

He should have protested by not participating in the competition. His participation assumed that he wanted the prize money however little.

The ZBBFF is the one that should be disciplined. Why punish someone whose complaint is that the Federation is incompetent? And there are facts to prove that fact. The idiots have one whole year to prpare for the event and still fail.

We should find out how much the executive’s in this ZBFF pay them selves. You will find that the get more money than the sportsmen and women, and its not only ZBFF its just all sports associations. That’s why you find the members of the executive are wamuyaya. There hold on to there executive positions for ever as a means of livelihood. With out these associations some of these people would be destitute

    1. It seems the assoiciation either has harsh or self created by-laws
    2. The Athelete should know what he was competing for from the begining. The sport may need higher entrance fees and sponsorship
    3. Mr ex Zambia needed to get a manager to market his muscles and gym. The dumb fock wanted just prize money. He should learn to read then read the word E-N-D-O-R-S-E-M-E-N-T.

i doubt if the prize money amount was decided upon after he won, y did he participate if he had something better to do? however, he didnt deserve to be stripped of the title, jus explain to him that money doesnt grow on trees
i play rugby for a zambian team, but u will never hear me complaining about how footballers (and our sister football club) get more money, its wat most ppl (with money) like (and thus it draws sponsorship)

You strip a champion off his title, then who do you give? a non champion? and you still remain in the executive knowing very well that the real champion is out there.

Do not enter a competition thinking you will reap huge benefits and when the benefit is low you accuse the sponsor that is unfair. Enter with the full knowledge of its benefits if any.
