Red Arrows caretaker coach Charles Kafula says he is settling well in the hot seat at the Zambia Air Force sponsored club.
Kafula who was named interim coach after the sacking of 2013 Barclays Cup Coach of the Year winner George Lwandamina was found at Nkoloma Stadium conducting trials by the bolazambia crew alongside his assistant Songwe Chalwe.
“It’s too early to say anything but so far so good. We are settling well,” Kafula said.
He said he was hoping to rope in a few new players in the squad before the commencement of the season.
Meanwhile, Red Arrows are conducting trials that have attracted 64 players from across the country as they hope to bolster their squad.
“We just want to see some players and hope to get a few. Some have come from as far as Livingstone, Chililabombwe and of course Lusaka,” Kafula said.
Lwandamina took over as Red Arrows coach three seasons ago and had assembled a side that played some of the most attractive football in the league with the likes of Bruce Musakanya, Stanley Nshimbi, Daniel Sibanda and Shadreck Malambo.
