You sound you have not traveled Mr English Interllectual.

There are several cities even in india where sewer flows arround houses and the strees as normal.

There are several cities where guns sound every hour – Detroit

There are several cities were there is no running water for 90% of the day.

Probably these are the cities that were sampled.

Harare cannot be the least you fool.

Definately Lusaka deserves to be where it is – period!

Yes my friend it is a City. A bit like Singapore and the Vatican which are both cities and countries at the same time… But of course we cannot classify Hong Kong as such because it was handed back to Chinese authority in 1997. History is a beautiful thing.

Its just sad how people fail to comprehend a story. These ratings aint about civil unrest, peace etc, they are about connectivity, green spaces etc. Though I seem not to agree with this study, but maybe the sample size was not broad enough….and these are ‘poor results’. Where is Kabul?

Street vending has contributed a lot to the filth in Lusaka. These guys just throw rubbish any how, clogging the drainage structures in the process. And the big question is where to they go to relieve themselves as there are no toilet facilities to carter for these vendors in the streets? Ifiko fyacilamo fye…malaabishi aya

No American city ranks among the best!!! Am glad Munich is on the list having lived and studied there for 7 years. It is such a wonderful city in every sense: very well planned with open spaces, a variety of easily accessible transport networks and providing a lot to look out for from the culture of the Bavarians, historical sites like Odeon’s platz under Hitler’s third reich to the latest modern sites like the olympia dorf etc. There are also old historical sites like palaces of kings and princesses from the middle ages.

LUSAKA CAN BE A BETTER PLACE TO LIVE IN IF US PEOPLE WHO LIVE IN LUSAKA TAKE CARE OF IT IN TERMS OF CLEANLINESS AND REMOVE ALL STREET VENDORS FROM THE CORRIDORS IN THE MAIN STREETS LIKE CAIRO ROAD, FREEDOM, CHACHACHA AND THE FAMOUS LUMUMBA ROAD. INDEED IT DOES NOT LOOK LIKE A CAPITAL CITY. EVEN A VILLAGER CAN NOT BE SCARED OF THE BUILDINGS. LETS WORK HARD ZAMBIANS TO IMPROVE OUR CAPITAL CITY LUSAKA.
