These people in congo have failed to govern themselves.we should just take up the all Katanga to be part of Zambia.I think that’s what they are angry for.

Iam sure we have an organised goverment in place. This is a very sencetivity issue which needs urgent attention. People are being killed.Unfortunately for us Zambians we have never experienced war,our friends are very talented they know all the short cuts in and out of Congo. So there is need for people in authority to take action quickly. So far we have herd nothing from the politician.

Indeed, Barbaric. Let’s just close the border! What do we gain from there, anyway; if it compromises our national security and safety?

honurable Mwenya Musenge can u propose the system of a dry port at kasumbalesa,so that congolese truckers ccan collect the goods from the zambian side other than letting inocent drivers to risk thier lives for the benefit of bad congolese. If u fail to introduce the dry port at kasumbalesa then resign for failing to solve the senstive issue at hand ,where drivers arekilled at will by the people who are served by our drivers .this is the time for u to prove yo ministerial power.

Close the border we do not benefit anything. Why should be an issue everything someone is killed for offering his services to the Country that will never appreciate.
Send Soldiers to that area and protect our own National and alike.Zambia is a peaceful Country in Africa. We kept a lot of refugees from Angola,Mozambique,Zimbabwe,South Africa,Namibia,Rwanda,DRC etc all what we get is hostility.
Cancel the Concert for the Congolese Musician coming to Zambia to honour our Colleagues who have been slain in cold blood by halfwit criminals over money and other valuables.

I wonder what government is dealing with this matter. They should take this matter as urgent, let the gvmnt not belittle this matter because when it grows bigger, they will fail to handle it and may result in war.

If there is a country where foreigners are free to do anything they feel like doing is Zambia. Being a christian nation does not mean we should just sit and do nothing when our people are being killed in broad day light. In Ndola somalians have obtained plots and built houses while we the owners of the land can not even get one. just look at how many buildings these people have built. One day we shall be ruled by these foreigners…watch the space. We zambians are slow to react and the biggest problem is with our govtment leaders they have no power to protect us.

Dealing with congo DR is like dealing with matero / lilanda. There are honest people and criminals co-mingling. Cadres and normal people together. Cadres/ thugs/ thieves hide among the civilised people.

Lusaka gets 60-70% of its labour from matero / chilenje (the compounds). Zambian farmers are employed because of Congo DR.

    Its a f?cked up situation!
