Truck Driver Death New Twist ‘Driver Was Bonking a Congolese Woman’
New information around the death of a truck driver is suggesting that the shooting in cold blood and subsequent death could have been as a result of a love affair gone sour, said Defence Minister Edgar Lungu in Lusaka yesterday.
“There is intelligence information reaching us on the Zambian side that there could have been a woman involved in the sad shooting that led to a death,” Mr Lungu said, “credible information also suggests that the dead truck driver is a Malawian national who worked for a Zimbabwean company.”
Mr Lungu, however, said, “I am aware my Home Affairs colleague is on top of things in this matter because it’s his jurisdiction and I won’t say much except that the banditry behaviour is condemned and the bandits shall be smoked out regardless of the circumstances that led to the shooting.”
The Defence Minister said Zambia security services are alert and will do everything in their power to ensure that Zambia remains a safe place.
Mr Lungu, however said apart from this latest incident that could have a “love gone bad” aspect to it, the government is aware of worrying cross border banditry which it seeks to address peacefully.

These are just lies, even last time when a Zimbabwean was killed that’s what the ****** Congolese claimed. you mean truck drivers only **** Congolese women,the fact is that they also **** women from other countries but why is that they are not killed in these other countries. why was the driver not taken to court instead.****** lies only to be believed by ****** government officials because the the government is weak and hide in so called peaceful and christian nation.
