Kaingu Requests for Secondary School In His Chiefdom

CHIEF Kaingu of Itezhi tezhi district has called on the government to construct a secondary school in his chiefdom.
Chief Kaingu said his people had no secondary school and this was becoming a challenge to school children who had to travel long distances to the nearest secondary school.
“There is no way we can fight poverty without education. The best way to eradicate poverty is by educating citizens. How can you deal with poverty if the youths are uneducated? chief Kaingu queried.
He further said that there was need to work on the Itezhi-tezhi road as it was deplorable and had become a source of concern among the residents of the area.
“If the road from the junction to Itezhi-tezhi is rehabilitated, better still tarred, it can make it easy to transport goods from other parts of the country to the area and the other way round.”
He was speaking in Itezhi-tezhi after the International Women’s Day celebrations.

If there is one modern school under construction in this country, it’s the one located on a hilly area in ITT. Tops!
