Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has begun talks with counterparts from the US and key EU states to try to resolve the crisis in Ukraine.
The US wants independent observers in the flashpoint region of Crimea and direct talks between Kiev and Moscow.
Russia is likely to call for greater representation for Ukraine’s Russian-speaking areas in the Kiev government.
The EU earlier offered 11bn euros ($15bn; £9bn) of aid to Ukraine and froze the assets of 18 Ukrainians.
European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso said the package of loans and grants over the next couple of years was “designed to assist a committed, inclusive and reforms-oriented government” in Kiev.
Ukraine’s finance ministry has predicted it needs $35bn to rescue the economy.

A democratically elected presido was overthrown and the west supported it because he was royal to Russia ant not the west, like Egypt the west-puppet coupe’detas are sipping wine in conflicted environments when the democratically elected presido is behind bars suspected as a terrorist among other charges.
The west is not after democracy, but to implement their double stands where they can be accepted and implemented to please themselves, So much that when it comes to manipulate that country’s sovereignty, there is little or no resistance.
WHAT TYPE OF DEMOCRACY DOES THE WEST PROMOTE?

Hello Jamakudi,
Mudala mona, the ousted president asked Russia to send its troops to intensify security to Ukraine, which Russia did by reaching quickly to a nearby town in Crimea, but before the could advance they faced resistance by rebels mixed with sentiments from outside accusing Russia’s involvement.
So its about permission and not colonizing, Hope this helps or you can correct me.
