Lusaka: 89 Children Poisoned at Birthday Party
Eighty nine children in Lusaka’s George Compound have allegedly been poisoned after consuming contaminated food at a birthday party.
The children developed stomach complications on Sunday and were later rushed to the University Teaching Hospital-UTH for treatment.
UTH Public Relations Manager Mwenya Mulenga says fifty of the children have since been treated and discharged while thirty nine are still admitted to the hospital.Kindly note that all comments will be reviewed for appropriate content.

where is zambia going poisoning 89 innocent future leaders? Bureau of stds watching? Clergy work up its never too late pray collectively without feeding for weeks. devil is targeting children world over. Zambia,children our only future. God is able.

Hygiene conditions under which the food was prepared need to be questioned here. Chances are that the food was not fresh so the little ones bore the consequences. As someone mentioned above, the numbers at that birthday party were too much,it is possible that some suffered due to their gate-crushing habits. Lesson learnt!

At Batoka hospital in Livingstone, children adimitted to ward 9 just next to the mortuary do not survive even if they have 99% chance of surviving. It is believed that the nurses who work at night are agents of satanism. No child has survived from 27th February 2014 todate.They must get a beating
