A KABWE Zambia Air Force sergeant has fled after allegedly sodomising a named grade 12 boy of Chindwin Barracks Secondary School.
The ZAF sergeant and the boy allegedly committed the felony on Wednesday around 21:30 hours in a bar toilet at Gonde Lodge.
According to a police source, the duo was noticed by a Zambia National Service major, who alerted others but the ZAF sergeant managed to escape.
“The ZNS major and his team managed to apprehend the boy, who looks 18 years and is in grade 12 at Chindwin Barracks Secondary School. I am told the boy pleaded that he be released because he was in grade 12 and so would miss his exams,” the source said. “The ZAF sergeant is actually a medical officer.”
Gonde Lodge manager, Martin Nalisa, and Central Province deputy police commissioner, Edwin Bwange, confirmed the incident in separate interviews.
Nalisa said: “What happened is most unfortunate. We don’t and we shall never allow such wicked acts to happen at our lodge because it’s against the laws of Zambia.”
Bwange said the police were investigating the matter.
He said: “I don’t have much detail because I am in Chibombo but I can confirm, that we are investigating a case of sodomy.”

Breaking news First same sex wedding held in Brighton
A Brighton guest house owner and a Hove-based dramatist have made history by becoming the first same-sex couple to be married in Brighton and Hove.
Andrew Wale and Neil Allard became one of the first same sex couples to tie the knot in the country during a special midnight ceremony in the grand Music Room at the Royal Pavilion.
The pair made their vows during a 10-minute ceremony just after the clock struck twelve in front a gathering of 200 friends and family as well as 40 members of the international press.

Homophobic attitude towards homosexuality is pronounced among individuals who harbor unacknowledged attraction towards the same sex they grew up in conservative authoritarian households which forbade such desires…
KAKOLWE’S homophobia is the external manifestation of repressed sexual desires he feel towards his own gender.

If society didn’t make them hide, of course they would do their business in more dignified places. Can either of these men take each other home? Can they book a hotel room together? Of course not, so they are forced into the toilets.
This says a lot about us a society, more than it says anything about us.
What were these two men doing that other adults in Zambia are not doing? You have the rights to fulfill your passions with a consenting adult. Why shouldn’t they?
