Simuusa: Nawakwi Is Ignorant
AGRICULTURE and Livestock Minister Wylbur Simuusa has said Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) leader Edith Nawakwi should desist from commenting on issues she does not understand.
Simuusa said in a statement in Lusaka yesterday that at the rate Ms Nawakwi was going, her dreams of becoming Republican President would not be achieved.
He expressed disappointment at what he described as a high level of ignorance displayed by the FDD leader, when she featured on last Thursday’s edition of “Let the People Talk” programme on Radio Phoenix.
Nawakwi accused Cabinet Ministers of failing to perform and that they only acted on presidential directives instead of taking up leading roles.
“I wish to express my utter disappointment at the high levels of ignorance displayed by FDD leader, Ms Nawakwi, during last Thursday’s programme.
“My advice to her is that she should desist from commenting on issues she does not understand because at the rate she is going, she will never achieve her dream of ever becoming president of Zambia,” Mr Simuusa said.
He said that it was becoming clear why FDD was near extinction owing to alleged failure by Ms Nawakwi.
During the programme, Ms Nawakwi accused the ministers of failing to provide leadership.

Dull really, if not Nawaki was the worst Agriculture minister in the 1990s. We are not forgetting the Carlington maize deal which she and Chiluba pocketed the Zambian money!

In all fairness to Simusa and i hope those who know him shall alert him to this fact, it is unfair for him to bring Chiluba in this issue. Is it a combination of TONGA and PF hatred you have against the former President? If Nawakwi stole, she stole alone and not with Chiluba. Has Simusa forgotten why he got transferred from ministry of mines? Remember the corruption meetings you were having with Chinese mine investors very late in the evenings at your office soliciting for bribes in order for you to help process their mining/prospecting licenses? Do not be childish and it is shameful that you can be so hateful even towards the dead. It is not Chiluba who has faulted your cabinet. If Chiluba must be mentioned in every wrong thing his ministers did, can you also talk about the MEZZARFF flats scandle, the alleged stolen motor vehicle by your boss or indeed the missing k2billion in which some ministers, including the then MMD general secretary were linked. Was this the work of Chiluba? If so since he was the President, how do you interpret all the scandles in which PF ministers today have been linked such as TRANSFIGURA OIL SCANDLE, ZESCO POLE SCANDLE, ZAWA SCANDLE, DIGITAL MIGRATION SCANDLE, KAMBWILI DEGREE SCANDLE and the abnormally inflated road works scandles and many more. Is it your boss involved? Please we want to see peace return in the hearts of those who loved and respected Chiluba especially after being humiliated by your fellow tribal elements and dying a suspicious death, probably, and most likely a death that might have paved a way to your benefiting to be where you are. Fight with Nawakwi and not Chiluba. Do not mistake people for cowards if they chose to remain quiet and respect God’s wish for allowing somebody’s life to rest. Even your boss you shall insult and humiliate when he becomes vulnerable.

THE COMMENTS FROM ONE BLOGER, Isaac, TALKING ABOUT NAWAKWI/CHILUBA CARLINGTON SCANDLE, WERE MISTAKENLY THOUGHT TO BE A CONTINUATION OF SIMUSA’S COMMENTS. THOUGH THE WORDS USED ARE HARSH SOMEHOW, LET THEM STICK TO WHOEVER HAS BEEN AND MAY USE AGAINST CHILUBA. What ignorance is he talking about? Simuusa is ignorant about Nawakwi’s ignorance because he can’t state anything apart from saying Nawakwi is ignorant. Nowonder sata calls them useless.

Surely what do U expect from a useless Minister. Why call Nawakwi ignorant if U cant state the ignorance. Failure to state the ignorance is utter ignorance. Useless Minister!!

Nawakwi visited the filth townships in Ndola. This is the real situation on the ground. With or without defesive mechanism, this wont the current status of masala. The response from Government or civic leaders should that of finding lasting solution to problem. Criticising one who revealed will not help the situation. Zambian call sped a sped.

Simuusa! Instead of making noise, go back to the office and work and produce results for Zambians to see. Useless as the President called you, truly its what ur. The time u waste making noise on media is that time u ur getting tax payers money as your salary. PF is a very painful govt. God help u in 2016.
