Teenage Boxer Dares Catherine Phiri
Eighteen year old female boxer Joyce Chileshe has vowed to end Catherine Phiri’s unbeaten career when the two clash during this weekend’s Bantamweight non-title fight.
Speaking in an interview in Mongu, Chileshe from Mufulira Boxing Gym, says it is time that Catherine, who is a holder of one African and two world title belts, should taste defeat.
Initially, Catherine was supposed to fight Hamisa Willy of Tanzania or Patience Mastara from Zimbabwe but both boxers pulled out saying Catherine was too strong for them.
