Chief Government Spokesperson Joseph Katema has dismissed the assertion that the country is running on autopilot.
Commenting on the observation by international lawyer Robert Amsterdam that many observers feel Zambia is running on auto-pilot in view of the fact that President Michael Sata has not addressed the nation in a long time, Dr. Katema, who is also Information and Broadcasting Minister, has told Qfm news in an interview that the PF government is above such politics Mr. Amsterdam is playing.
Dr. Katema has also wondered whether Mr. Amsterdam has now become a politician and what he intends to achieve by putting the PF government in bad light by suggesting that it is an abusive government.
He however says government is not moved to respond to the assumptions Mr. Amsterdam has continued to make against it.
Dr. Katema says he is of the view that an international lawyer like Mr. Amsterdam, who he says is disgraced, does not even need to be responded to by a government like that of the PF .
He says he is of the view that Mr. Amsterdam should instead stick to his profession.

ARMSTERN HAS BEEN FINISHED BY PF AND HIS CLIENTS ARE VERY MUCH DISAPPOINTED.HENCE HE IS NOW FORCED TO SAY SOMETHING SAY AGAINST THE GOVT.SO MY ADVICE TO THE GOVT IS NOT RESPOND TO THAT SHAMELESS LAWYER BUT RATHER CONTINUE TO RESPOND TO THE ZAMBIANS PEOPLE CHALLENGES.

I think the world is seeing what is happening. We as PF have decided to be different from the rest that had mananaged Zambia before. New management style. It is the duty of ministers to talk, implement gvt policies etc. the presido just checks. Isnt this how it is supposed to be?
