What is there to celebrate! The TRAGEDY is how we/GRZ quickly wants to bend rules on VAT refunds to the extent that the whole F/minister is working overtime to refund VAT to tax evaders. KCM makes $500 billion per year & yet declares losses & Glencore tax evasion exposed by the EIB has gone quite. ABC did NOT find it FIT to write MCS about tax evasion. Instead these TAX EVASION issues ARE left to Action Aid’s Pamela Chisanga. Even electricity tariff hikes to mines are resisted (taken to High court) THIS TURNING OF THE OTHER CHEEK TO THE MINES IS TRAGIC. WAS ABC & GS PUT IN OFFICE TO REPRESENT MINES OR ZAMBIANS? ABC keeps his job for colluding with MINES & Kabimba gets fired for exposing him. Why cant ABC write to MCS to let ZRA to deduct VAT refunds from the tax evaded?

What you are forgetting is that the so called VAT issue you keep yapping about without understanding the issue is that this was a cabinet decision, therefore a collective decision and Kabimba being a member of cabinet is therefore party to that collective decision. So, for him to selectively leak documents that he is party to is the most treacherous act any decent person in a position of leadership can do. So, please analyze issues in context before you make a f.o.o.l of yourself with your blind loyalty.

What Cabinet decision? Chikwanda eas lobbying MCS in his capacity as Finance Minister? In any case, Are poor Zambians going to eat collective responsibility? Which is more of a crime to ordinary Zambians, corruption with mines worth million of usd or exposing a corrupt scheme or collective reponsibility? As for me and my household PF forget about our votes. I will try HH maybe UPND will have sanity decency of putting Zambia first! I regret voting for PF in 2011

@Quest…..I agree with you 100%…Yesterday as I was driving along Independence Avenue near New Government Complex, I saw PF cadres/youths celebrating and hooting and you know what surprised me? All other motorist were not interested. They were neither hooting back nor paying attention. Then I realised I wasn’t the only one irritated by the turn of events in this Government. To the people of Zambia, firing of Winter Kabimba is no factor to their well being. Ofcourse Winter was hated coz of his arrogance and him going is a well come move, but PF has a lot to correct before they regain popularity.

ANNOYING ATTITUDE OF NURSES AT MANSA CENTRAL CLINIC
I write to complain about the treatment we are receiving at Mansa Central clinic. Their attitude is so annoying such that if it was in other parts of the country we would here reports every day, why have i said this. To begin with every time you go there after 16:00hrs you are required to buy a new book as there is only one nurse working if you are lucky. I went there as I was not feeling well, we could not be attended the nurse that was there said she had knocked off and that we had to wait for the one who would be there after her. I waited for more than an hour but could not be attended to until I went back home. As I speak to you am not well still My wish is that one day our nurses could become more serious with the jobs they are paid to do. I wrote to find out how I would launch complaints against such nurses. Is there a board, council or channel to be followed?

Again like your friend above, you ask us to have sympathy for someone that has neither time nor sympathy for others. Isn’t that rather hypocritical of you. Kabimba laid the bed when he engineered the suspension and resignation of Lubinda and GBM respectively. Now he must lie in that bed. Some of us have more respect for someone who resigns of his own free will than hanging on until you are unceremoniously dispensed of! I’m sure his co-conspirators at the Post will give him a job driving their trucks of copper. Just saying.

Winter is good riddance. We have celebrated and have now stopped and anxiously the results that will come from PF due to his dismissal. We await the reduction in prizes of all essential commodities and the new constitution, if this wont happen then as far as I am concerned, PF is still a lousy party which is bent on nothing but lies.

    August 29, 2014 at 9:22 am

@Trixy, with any semblance of intelligence in your pretty skull. If the PF youths saw that as their dance, its theirs. If you have chosen to align yourself with that political sewage (upnd), with the likes of Tekere for advice!! Enjoy yourself!! Yack!!!!

It must save as a warning to those who have remained in PF, who fill they cannot be shaken. They should not treat themselves as small gods wanting to be worshiped by others. Mr Kabimba never evaluated what people complained about him and never thought to consult God if people just hated him. To those that have remained take caution or else it will be you next and you’ll land on thorns. God bless our country. ”Zambia”

@Kakolwe, For sure it is their right hence the PF youths can dance and celebrate for all I care. And I have never hidden the fact that I would rather give UPND a chance in 2016 than PF for obvious reasons.

@Trixy & how obvious is obvious? You say you hope to see essential commodities coming down coz Winter in gone, are for real? What value rubbed off onto you or me when HH got Tekere for his adviser?

      • Trixy Reply

        August 29, 2014 at 4:58 pm

@Kakolwe…people are saying Winter was a hinderance to so many things including the constitution making process. That I agre. Now that he is gone and people are celebrating, we need to see the results. Or is it a matter of just celebrating? People should have vision in life. When I voted for Sata and PF in 2011, I was out there celebrating. You know why? because I knew my vote counted and I looked forward to Sata putting into being his campaign promises. Alas, no soon did he get into State House than he changed.

The problem is that PF is full of kaponya’s whether educated or not educated! E.g. Winter Kabimba, Prof. Nkandu Luo, Wilbur Simuusa, etc etc are educated kaponyas; GBM, Willie Nsanda, Obvious Mwaliteta etc etc are uneducated kaponyas. VIVA PF (Pa Fyamba)!

The president has the right to hire and fire ministers in his cabinet. To fire Wynter Kabimba as Justice minister is in order but To fire Wynter Kabimba from his party post (Secretary General)is not in order and is dictatorship.
That amount of power is dictatorial and abusive; the president must not be allowed to fire people from elected posts (party positions).

Winter Kabimba was not elected as PF Secretary general but appointed by the same ghost president who has fired him. He is also not an elected MP but nominated. He is only an elected member of the central committee of the PF.
