Zambians are looking for a leader who will realign the country back to its democratic foundation, says Dora Siliya.
Commenting on Southern Province minister Daniel Munkombwe’s call to Tongas to vote for a fellow tribesman, Hakainde Hakainde, Siliya said Zambians were not looking for a president from a particular tribe. “Zambians are not looking for a Tonga, Chewa, Ngoni, Lozi, Bemba or Kaonde president; they are looking for a president who has public confidence. A leader with experience, with a legal and economic mind.
A leader who can use the remaining period before the general elections, to put the country in order and push for a new constitution,” Siliya said. “The UPND must forget about winning this election because Zambians are not looking for a Tonga president. This country is looking for a meaningful leader who can realign the democratic goals back to its foundation. It is looking for a leader that can learn from the mistakes we have made as a country in the past 50 years.” She said Munkombwe’s statement was an assault on democracy.
“That statement is a total assault on democracy. But it does not surprise me because it is coming from a man who is in politics to eat. The problem is that his statement has scared a lot of Zambians who were doubting that UPND is for Tongas. His statement confirms all the fears. He has chased away voters from other parts of the country,” Siliya said. She wondered why the UPND leader who spoke after Munkombwe at the Choma campaign rally did not condemn the remarks made by the Southern Province minister. “Hichilema was there when Munkombwe made that statement and he did not condemn that. In fact, he was happy that Munkombwe said it because that is what he has been afraid of saying himself,” Siliya said. “You heard that at their next rally, the man shamelessly started begging for a job, saying he would crawl before HH once he wins; and without condemning his stament, HH promised him a job and said he would use his experience.
That is very scary for the Zambian people.” Siliya said unlike Munkombwe, her support for the PF presidential candidate, Edgar Lungu, was not tribal. “Zambians must run away from political leadership that is 90 per cent based on tribe. My support for Lungu has nothing to do with tribe. When we worked with president [Levy] Mwanawasa, there was no tribal connection, but we supported him for a good cause,” she said.
Siliya wondered what would happen if the UPND was to lose next week’s election. “I wait anxiously to see what will happen to the UPND when they lose this election; because clearly, that will spell doom on HH. I doubt if his MPs will allow him to continue failing.
They say if you keep trying the exact same thing and expecting different results, then there is something wrong with your thinking. So the question is who will take over UPND if HH fails again? Another Tonga? I wait to see what will happen and I am sure many Zambians are equally eager to see,” said Siliya.

Attention fellow PF Members and Supporters,
Please take this urgently & seriously;
There is a leaking intelligence report which is suggesting that the UPND President Hakainde Hichilema may be declared winner of the next Tuesday (20.01.2015) Presidential Elections.
According to the classified document, our President Edgar Lungu may lose due to violence which most Zambians now believe is instigated by our carders.
The report indicates in parts that HH may win mainly because of the violence and Boko Haram Tag that Hon Lungu has been forced to wear.
The report which is circulating seems to be authentic. I am afraid if we relax as PF, we will be doomed.
I now call on all loving PF Members country wide to do anything best to reverse this eminent lose.
Please let us work hard though time has now ran out to see whether we can retrieve our party from oblivion.
Things on the ground are not well with us.
Please Vote Edgar Lungu for Presidency.

We Tongas are truly backward and unfair to other tribes. We always vote for our Tonga man HH but we expect other tribes to vote for HH wnen they also have their own to vote for. I do not think they are fools to vote for HH who is glued to tribalism. In terms of completing Mr Sata’s projects and promoting unity in the nation, Lungu is the best candidate.

Not if, but WHEN HH fails. Who do you think can vote for a SATANIST? It is clear HH is a Satanist only careless Tongas can vote for him together with ritualist Indian Zambians and other ritualists who enjoy spiling and sucking innocent blood.

The party for the Tonga’s been boot leaked by the idiots from other tribes who are in the party because of the money HH gives them. We all know that Tonga’s want’s to be above other tribes even at the places of work no wonder why their towns are still undeveloped, they are lucky Livingstone is in their part of the land otherwise Tongaland would have been a bush full of wild animals. Shame on this tribe, learn from the Lozi people who have stopped talking and thinking in tribal lines, no wonder why they are distancing themselves from you idiots “Tongas”. They know that the development of their land lies in the hands of EL. VIVA continuity for PF. let them continue wallowing in their tongaland.

“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the colour of their skin, but by the content of their character. I have a dream today.” This is an excerpt of Dr Martin Luther King’s speech. In the context of UPND how do people like Mutati and other tribes not Tonga join a party where they will be judged by their tribe, and not by the content of their character to become president of the party. Does it mean they lack presidential ambitions?

January 17, 2015 at 4:54 pm
That is true @Snr Eng Rtd.
Any person who is from other tribes but has no presidential ambitions can join UPND. Take @judge Joe Bidden for instance. He knows his ambitions end at the corporate world and ends there. Thus, he endorses HH for the fringe benefits emanating from HH’s business. But for me, who thinks BIG & eyes the presidency, I can’t even spell HH & Munkombwe’s rubbish coz I hope to run for the presidency one day soon. Too Soon.
Check, even GBM realised that too quickly such that he thought of forming his own party.

ifintu fye niuyu muntu uwaicefya lungu.Today some southern chiefs told EL that
`theres nothing that will stop u from going into state house, people are saying its HH here THAT IS A LIE’
I was watching this on z n b c tonight. This is encouraging, probably they av realised that tribalism is not good for the nation and 4 some tongas like HH and MUNKOMABWE.NOT ALL TONGAS bv there are a few seeds of descrepancy who try to confuse the majority tongas. They are the ones that makes the tongas carry the tribal tag.Despite knowing that HH was not popular in 2006 almost 90% Tongas voted 4 the looser. In 2011 despite knowing that HH had no chance almost95% Tongas voted 4 HH.Even next week’s elections, despite knowing that HH has no chance against EL,they will vote like at gun point 98%.HH will however improve to be second not because of tongas coz they have always been voting 4 him,but bcoz of NON TRIBALIRTIC TRIBES.So when we begin to see other tribes candidates getting a fair share from tonga land,we will then vote 4 u
