UPND Ask ECZ If They Can Have A Re-Count Of The Ballots

ECZ chairperson Justice Ireen Mambilima has stated that a re-count can only be done at a polling station where the voting took place. She was responding to UPND’s Martha Mishipe’s  question,  if they can be given an opportunity to do a re-count if the margin between the winner and the runner was about 5000 votes.

She stated that a recount cant only be ordered by the Supreme Court and ECZ cant announce results that have not verified.

The recount question is a deliberate one asked in case PF comes close to UPND by 5000. If Jugde Mambilima says no, then no recount when PF asks for it. clever.

I think UPND should just concede defeat. In my opinion Muvi tv exaggerated their “campaign”, showing that they had their favourite candidate. Some supporters were also too tribal n this was discouraging. Choose another approach next tym.

Majority Zambians did not see presidential quantities in HH, this the way we voted, Southern for HH, the rest for ECL period, go to court but tomorrow inaugulatiom ceremony. Change UPND president to someone non Ing’ombe Ilede and try 2016, otherwise 2021. If UPND is not Tonga change should take place no.
Sorry for your lose, we love ECL for now.

Some simple maths guys, out of 34% turn out el has got 50+% and hh 46% and others share the remaining % age. For hh to win in the remaining constituency he needs extra volts from other countries to add to his so that the turn up %age moves from 34 to 40 which is mathematically impossible. El win already

    HH to his supporters:
I urge you to stay patient. The results are likely to be extremely tight, but we are encouraged by independently analyzed PVT from civil society as well as our internal numbers.
All will become clear soon. We will keep you updated as things continue to develop.

UPND! UPND! TONGAS! The only problem with UPND is the way they do their tribal politics. after Mazoka dies, you issue statements like NO ONE SHUD STAND FOR PRESIDENCY IN UPND IF YOU ARE NOT TONGA, next MUNKOMBWE SAYS ITS NOW TIME FOR TONGAS TO RULE THIS COUNTRY and you expect to win with such sentiments? you must be joking. try 2040!

I ALWAYS ASK MYSELF: WHY IS IT THAT A TONGA CANNEVER VOTE FOR ANY OTHER TRIBE APART FROM HIS FELLOW TONGA NAWADAYS? WHEN INFACT HH IS GETTING VOTES IN THESE OTHER PROVINCES? WHICH ENTELLS THAT THIS TRIBAL CLIQUE HAS A VERY BIG PROBLEM AND IS A DANGER TO THIS COUNTRY AS THEY MAY SEPERATE SOUTHERN P FROM THE REST. JUST LOOK AT HOW YOU TREAT OTHER TRIBES IN WORK PLACES IF YOU HOLD HIGH OFFICES! AS IF THEY ARE NOT YOUR FELLOW ZAMBIANS? ALA TAVUTIKA! WITH THESE PEOPLE, WHAT MORE IF YOU HOLD THE HIGHEST OFFICE.
