Daka Is African Youth Player Of the Year

CHIPOLOPOLO Striker Patson Daka has won the 2017 Young African Player of the year award.

An emotional Patson Daka has dedicated his award to late fellow player Changwe Kalale.

Patson Daka becomes the second Zambian player after Clifford Mulenga to win the CAF Youth Player of the Year.

The stone that the builders rejected is now Africa’s best.

Ala echawamisha ko fye mu bushuku bwa lelo! I really missed the boy in the second game against Nigeria, had he played we could have walloped Nigeria in their own backyard, and swung fortunes against them! His preciseness at goal just amazes me! No wonder soccer fans in Kitwe were upset because Nigeria’s back line was really hollow, yet goals couldn’t rain! His replacement kept on firing blanks hence the painful loss!
