The National Pension Scheme Authority –NAPSA- has revealed that it pays K84 million monthly to more than 14,000 retirees.

Speaking to Phoenix News at the just ended Zambia International Trade Fair in Ndola, NAPSA Head Corporate Affairs Cephas Sinyangwe said the authority was implementing the on line e-Napsa system to have the records of pensioners, make payment and verify personal details.

Mr. Sinyangwe explained that the e-Napsa system is progressing well and that the authority had integrated 13 banks which would enable employers and individual workers to contribute without physically going to NAPSA offices.

He adds that with the investment in the real estate and market shares, NAPSA was able to pay K84 million to 14,500 pensioners monthly.
