MHSRIP: Namwala Road Traffic Accident Leaves One Dead

A road traffic accident on Namwala road in Choma has left one person dead early Monday morning.

Southern Province Commissioner of Police Bonny Kapeso has identified the deceased as 26 year old Christian Silomba of Chandamali in Choma.

Kapeso tells Byta FM News that the accident happened around 02:00 Hours when Silomba lost control of his Toyota Mark X registration BAH 5032 ZM due to excessive speed.

He adds that Silomba died from head injuries sustained after the vehicle hit a calvet after careering off the road.

Silomba was until his death an employee at Shalom Bus Services in Choma.
