Government has reaffirmed its commitment to revamping the mulungushi textiles in kabwe central province.

National Development Planning Minister Alexander Chiteme says revamping the mulungushi industry in kabwe will help create markets for cotton growers and subsequently create employment not only in central province but in the country as a whole.

Mr. Chiteme has noted that apart from being centrally located, the province has also the potential to develop the agriculture sector in the country.

And Mr. Chiteme has called on private sector to partner with his ministry as it implements the integrated rural development.

He says the PF government is already rolling out massive infrastructure development in rural areas while enhancing value addition.
