SOUTH African boxer Asandiswa Nxoswana says she is coming to Zambia to beat former World Boxing Council bantamweight champion Catherine Phiri in their non-title boxing encounter.
Asandiswa said Catherine should watch out as she was not coming for site-seeing but serious business.
“I’m coming to win, not by knockout, but I am going to win by points. I want to tell her [Catherine] to watch out because I’m coming,” Asandiswa said.
“We will be in Zambia for serious business – boxing – and we won’t be there on a vacation. The people of Zambia must look out for a very big fight from our side. And our opponent must be ready herself because we are ready. I know that Zambian boxers are fond of winning at home so we are ready for the unexpected.”
Catherine earlier this week said the bout would be a walk-over as she was going to use it to prepare herself for the WBC super-bantam weight title fight against Fatuma Zarika of Kenya whose date and venue is yet to be set.
