Mubaba Mangalashi Phiri , a 29-year-old woman who caught her husband committing adultery with her close friend and Tuzini Farms Limited founder Maria Zileni Zaloumis has been dragged to court by her husband’s lover Maria for assault and appeared in the Lusaka Magistrates Court on Thursday.
Mubaba of flat number 4 Buboni road Villas Roma township is charged with one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
It is alleged that Mubaba did assault Maria Frances Zileni Zaloumis thereby occasioning her actual bodily harm.
Lusaka magistrate, Kenneth Mulife allocated the case to margistrate Alice Walusiku for plea and possible commencement of trial.
Mubaba was however not before court when the case was called .
She is expected to take plea on Monday next week
Zaloumis is the Chief Executive Officer of Tuzini Farms, a commercial farming company that specializes in growing tomatoes.
