Tired of staying with a drunkard woman, a man of Mansa has dragged his wife of 20 years to court for divorce because she messes up in her clothes whenever she gets drunk. John Chansa wants to divorce his wife because she also discloses secrets they have shared together when she is drunk.
Chansa sued Anne Tembo for divorce.

The two tied the knot in 1998 and have six children together. Bride price was paid. Chansa told senior local court magistrate Leorntina Zaloumis that problems in his marriage started when his wife changed her behaviour in 2016 to patronise bars and clubs. Chansa said he has become a laughing stock to the public because when his wife is drunk, she messes up herself.

“ My wife is a drunkard who relieves on herself every time she is drunk,” he said. “ One day, I was going home from work when I found a group of people on the road. When I went to check, I found my wife lying down and she had messed up herself and people were watching,” he said.
He said his wife has no time to care for the family.

Chansa begged the court to grant them divorce because he is tired of living with a drunkard and shameless woman.And Tembo said she was ready to change and if divorce was granted, their children would suffer. Magistrate Zaloumis adjourned the matter for judgement.
