Would like to first of all thank you online media  for publishing lweendos story thus would like to give you an update.
On the 17th of December I managed to raise enough money to buy the Oxygen concentrator that Lweendo needed.
Allow me to thank everyone who contributed money towards the purchase of this machine. In particular I would like to thank Zambia watchdog for making us aware of Lweendos situation in social media, Dr. Mateyo from UTH who has been Lweendos doctor , Mr. Kaushi Desai and everyone who helped lweendos family financially or any other way.
The machine was handed to the family on Tuesday to the family by Sam mbewe and Yvonne Bwalya representing everyone who made a contribution.
As of yesterday evening Lweendo started using the portable Oxygen concentrator .
I must end by saying this is just a fraction of help that this lady requires at the moment as she may s require specialist treatment,therefore I would like to re echo my request to the government to take keen interest in this matter and see how best it can come in to help her and the family, further more I would like to ask those who still would like to help the family financially to continue doing that as the family needs help still for medicine and sustaining Lweendos.
