Zambian DNA commends President Edgar Lungu for his tacit commitment despite his tight schedule to inspect and commission various developmental projects across the country.

It is also gratifying that the robust infrastructure development being rolled out throughout the country is an all inclusive agenda tailored not to leave anyone behind.

However, it is unfortunate that some elected representatives such as members of parliament, councilors and council chairpersons in certain constituencies have neglected the electorates by not visiting them, and refusing to work with the government in delivering the much needed development in their respective areas.

In view of the foregoing, we urge all the elected representatives to emulate the Republican President by regularly visiting their respective areas and working with the government in delivering development in their constituencies.
