Kitwe based Catholic Priest Father Andrew Chewe Mukosa has spoken on the need to share national resources equitably as a way of making Zambia more peaceful.
Father Mukosa of Saint Francis Friary in Garneton said the huge gap between the rich and the poor has the potential to threaten national peace.
He has told Radio Icengelo News that Zambia cannot be called a peaceful nation when many people lack basic needs like health, education and water.
“Is Zambia a peaceful nation? Zambia is never peaceful until all of us have basic needs. If one has more and the other nothing we will never be at peace,” Father Mukosa said.
