Mansa Central Member of Parliament Chitalu Chilufya has implored the church to embrace peace during elections.
Dr. Chilufya says President Edgar Lungu has re-emphasised on Zambia being a democratic State and that democracy has no room for bloodshed.
He has urged the Church to pray for President Lungu and his leadership as well as to remain united during the Bahati parliamentary by-election.
The Mansa Central MP who is also Minister of Health has since commissioned two health centres in Moloshi and Musaila villages.
Speaking at the launch Dr. Chilufya says women in villages lack proper maternity care and that the clinics will ensure that women in rural areas access better health services.
