PROFESSOR Nkandu Luo has told lecturers at the Copperbelt University and University of Zambia to resign if delayed slaries makes them feel neglected by government.
The Higher Education Minister said the lecturers must find themselves better jobs.
Professor Luo said lecturers have a responsibility to contribute to resource mobilisation and those that feel neglected must find themselves better jobs as government can easily replace them.
And Professor Luo has also described as unfortunate sentiments by the Zambia Congress of Trade Unions to incite lecturers to protest saying such statements have potential to affect the country’s education sector.
