 Whilst President Edgar Lungu is on the duty of duty and busy resolving issues affecting Zambians, some Opposition political party leaders, in an alliance with some media outlets, are peddling falsehoods against the Head of State in a futile attempt to pull him down.

Indeed, President Lungu’s recent decision to disengage Konkola Cooper Mine (KCM) in an effort to protect the country’s interests, slash fees in public schools, suspension of ZESCO’s attempts to increase tariffs and many others demonstrate that he’s on top things.

More so, President Lungu has continued to transform lives of many marketeers and vendors who have accessed capital from the Presidential Initiative Empowerment Fund.

However, opposition political party leaders should work with Government through their area Members of Parliament (MPs) in delivering development to their respective constituencies, and not gain cheap political mileage by criticizing everything Government says and does.

We expect every right thinking Zambian or every patriotic citizen to support President Lungu’s quest to improve the Zambian people’s welfare.
