A State witness from State House has denied having assigned a Patriotic Front supporter to organise fuel for President Edgar Lungu’s motorcade.
Davies Simwanza who is in charge of facilitating the movement of President Edgar Lungu says he does not send any other person to organise fuel for President Lungu’s motorcade.
In this matter Japhet Mwelwa 48, a coordinator of farm 215 A Mumbwa is facing two counts of attempting to obtain money by false pretences.
Particulars of the offence in count one are that Mwelwa on March 26, 2019 swindled Zambia Congress of Trade Union secretary Cosmas Mukuka out of K 2000 cash by pretending that it was meant for refuelling a motor vehicle on presidential duties.
