Stealing K18 Washing Soap Sends Lusaka Man to Prison For 4 years With Hard Labour

A Lusaka Mandevu man who stole washing soap worth K18 has been sent to prison for 4years with hard labour.

Mwenya Kankunkutula however pleaded with the court for leniency as the washing soap he stole was to be used for his children to wash their school uniforms, however, the court upheld its decision to send him to prison.

His wife who was present wept uncontrollably after judgement was passed by the magistrate.
