Judiciary Is Redefining Itself – Justice Mambilima

Chief Justice Ireen Mambilima says the judiciary is re-defining its service delivery to the public through transparency and accountability.

Justice Mambilima says this is aimed at informing the general public on court processes and procedures to enable more people report matters to the courts of law.

She was speaking during the official launch of the High Court, Subordinate court and Small claims court service charters in partnership with the Transparency International Zambia -TIZ.

And TIZ president Rueben Lifuka said the charters will help the country in the fight against corruption and bring integrity.

In a speech read on his behalf by TIZ board member Annie Chewe, Mr. Lifuka, said the documents will also provide relevant information to the general public on how to acquire specific service from different institutions especially courts.
