illegal Bus Stops Reduce City Market Revenue

Lusaka City Market Manager Mwenya Matafwali has told Diamond TV that illegal bus stops have affected the City Market’s revenue collection.

He says drivers are shunning designated bus stations to avoid paying levies.

And Police Spokesperson Esther Katongo has called for enhanced measures between police and the general public to curb illegal bus stops.

Meanwhile, Bus Drivers at City Market have bemoaned the trend of illegal bus stations saying it is forcing them to resort to uneconomical fares.
